Lessons
Riding lessons are available 6 days a week (closed on Sundays). We teach from 6 years old to senior citizen's. We are open from 10.00 in the morning to 7.00 in the evening.
We offer
- Private lessons for ½hr or 1hr
- Semi private lessons for 2 or 3 people
- Group lessons for 4 or 5 people
Training available for progressive riding tests, and "British Horse Society" BHS Assistant Instructor's certificate, including riding and road safety tests.
Schooling/Backing
Doris and Adrian have both had many years experience backing and schooling young horses.
We take on horses for backing and schooling and the time spent with the horse is at the owners discretion.
The fee will depend on the horse, time and work involved.
Hacking
We also provide hacks for capable riders (i.e. walk, trot & canter).
Stable Management
For people wishing to learn more about horses other than riding we provide lessons in basic horse care like grooming, to activities like lungeing.
During the summer holidays, we organise "Own a pony week" for junior riders. The week provides invaluble experience with ponies, including riding, stable management and lectures. The course is 5 days in total and non-residential.
